Favourite SK-II SKINCARE

SK-II SKINCARE. This is my first post about skincare on this blog.

Long time ago back in 2008 I used to write a beauty blog and I have to say it was quite popular. I have been thinking of getting back to lifestyle blogging for a while and I thought why not start with my favourite subject, “SkinCare”.

If you follow me on Instagram you would know I do skincare informative stories once in a while and the response I get it unbelievable. A lot of people ask me what products I use and what are my favourites. Well the answer keeps changing however there are some products which are holy grail for me and those will never change. You will always find them in my vanity.

In case you are wondering what do I know about all of this, well I am a Certified Body therapist and used to run my spa in Tokyo before I embarked on my food journey.

Anyway getting back to the subject, as I am growing older my skincare has become very demanding. I don’t use the exact same products every day, I like to mix them and this works for me. The rest of the products I will feature in another post soon.

So here are some of my absolute favourites!

1: SK-II FACIAL TREATMENT ESSENCE

I have been using from past 6 years every single day in the morning before I put anything else on my face. This product has been known as a “miracle water” and loved by many celebrities and beauty bloggers. My experience with this is exactly the same, it is indeed a miracle water. It is very soothing and calming on the skin. Specially around nose, eyes and lips area. It’s a must in my vanity. Their famous Pitera essence formula does work, it’s an amazing product!

2: SK-II FACIAL TREATMENT CLEAR LOTION

I use this after the essence, I feel this lotion locks the essence in your skin. Prepares the skin for further moisturising steps.

4: SK-II R.N.A POWER RADICAL NEW AGE CREAM

This is the final step in my daily day skincare regime. This cream makes my skin velvety soft, hydrates it, improves the elasticity and it’s a great base for makeup. I have been using this cream from past 4 years, I have used it in all seasons, even though it’s not oily it is still perfect for winter season.
